This wiki is intended to enable the collaborative building of educational resources for the weather forecasting course run by the Australian Bureau of Meteorology. By contributing to such resources, it is hoped that course members will start to become true members of the professional meteorological community.
Membership of the site, and permission to add and edit pages, is by password. You will also need to have an account on wikidot (which is free). Members of the course have been provided the password. If you would like to join and be able to contribute, please contact me (Philip Riley). The aim of the site is educational (learning by doing), however, not to create the defintive Met Encyclopedia, so membership will be restricted to those whose contribution will assist the course.
